unbelief

march 3rd 2010 a day I will soon not forget (sister inlaws bday as well). The day my heart stopped and I learned what it is like to not breathe. The day someone stole my car and kiddnapped my child. No we don't think the kidnapping was suppose to happen just the car stealing. That's about as far as I am in dealing with it. Going to try to use blog to help work through it.

Really?

Oh, wow today. Woke up really tired not sure why?? Then the dvd player wouldn't spit out my cd just kept switching over to VCR. Went outside to take the trash and almost got hit in the head by the siding that is falling off of our house!! Went to SIMPLY lower Piersons crib and took forever. In the end the crib bumber had to come off, my nail was broken to the quick, and i had to totally read do his crib. That was the start of my day. To add to all of that my lovely little angel would not sleep over 30minutes!! WHY? There were about three times that i got him to sleep and then something would happen and he would wake up. The one time he did go down he woke up screaming. I know that he has been coughing more lately but he big surprise for him. I think he does feel bad. It just breaks my heart to see him so sleepy!! I put him down he cries, I hold him he cries!! Really!!! Then peter comes home and he is happy, for a while!! So to get out all my frustration I sanded Piersons floor. His room looks great now.

December Joy

Well we have started December with lots of joy! Pierson is so happy! He is a real joy to have around! I also started watching my friend Katies' little bundle of happiness Olivia. She and Pierson have been so good to me so far. I do spend alot of time keeping Pierson off of her but she is so cute it is hard to keep your hands off of her. I do enjoy having a friend over for breakfast and lunch two days in a row!

Pierson did start singing and dancing recently! Yeah he copies the tune of " All the single ladies " by Beyonce. What can I say it is too funny. He is also trying to stand up but all he gets is his legs straight and his arm still on the floor. But with his booty in the air he often shakes it. Very cute!!!

8 months

wow how the time flies when you are crazy busy, and are lacking sleep. Eight months WOW who would of thought we would make it this far? Not me! This is a job I never knew I would enjoy so very much! I cant believe I am mom, disbelief is a good word but other days I know I am the luckiest person alive because Pierson is apart of my world! The joy he has brought to our family is indescribable! Having a child has brought me closer to God. Not because I am constantly crying out to him for help at all hours with a crying baby, but because I see a little small glimps of Gods love for me. Even on day one of Pierson being born I would of done anything for him. Was I head over heals in love with him no not yet but that was not important I would of still done anything for him on that day. I try to see how he sees the world because God calls us to have faith like a child. Piersons has faith in everyone and trust everyone. I know only the stage that he is in but wow is that how God sees others??

Today we had agreat day! I followed his cues and the day went smooth. There was the lady at the tupperware stand in the mall that talked to him and he started screaming. Not sure what that was about?? Enjoyed a great day with Courtney and by the end of the day she had an email written and we had figured out the layout of my quilt. Mission Accomplished!!

The never ending sickness!!

OK well it is now Nov. 11th and Pierson has been sick since Sept. 1st. It started with throwing up (projectile) then to diahrea then to THE COUGH! The beginning of Oct we got meds for the cough and they seem to help. Then this last he had diahrea for three days then friday night he started throwing up! I have to say it was great in one aspect! Peter go threw up on! I was in the dining room and he was in the bedroom when you hear what sounds like a bucket of water being poured on the floor! Then you hear Peter say AMANDA!! So i run go get Pierson and take him to the bathtub! What else do you do with a throwing up baby! Then he goes on to keep throwing up for about an hour! The rest after that were just dry heaves(-spell). It was so sad because he was so tired he would barely wake up to throw up then be back asleep. he was really pale as well. And let me add that our friends were over that night!! And may never be back again! I invited over for brownies and they got throw up! Not what you want! But the rest of the night he had diahrea! One time i heard it so i took him to the changing table to change him and it just kept coming out. one big puddle of water CRAP all over the chaning table. then when things quieted down i sat with my little boy holding him and praying for him. I had to go to the bathroom but i didnt want to let go! I just cried as peter and i prayed for him. we ended up calling the nurse so that was good. Then sunday night and monday his cough got worse so today Tuesday I took him to the Dr. and they say he has an ear infected and one with fluid and a sinus infection and a sore throat! My poor baby! I am praying that he gets this all out before the holidays! I dont want him to have to endure the 6 hour, well worth it, drive to grandmas and be sick!

I am excited because he is sleeping a little better so I have been working on my gifts for my friends that are having baby girls!!! I have got all the figures drawn for the two quilts i will be making by march! March 23 and march 29!!I think I can do it! We have two craft nights are church this month and hopefully fit in two in December. OK well after today I need sleep and prayers!!
